OKX has officially announced the launch of two new perpetual contracts, MOODENGUSDT and NEIROUSDT, available across web, app, and API platforms starting from October 3, 2024. These contracts mark the latest expansion in OKX’s offerings, providing investors with new opportunities to engage with unique digital assets.
OKX to Launch MOODENG and NEIRO Perpetual Contracts on October 3, 2024
Launch Schedule:
- The MOODENGUSDT perpetual contract will begin trading on October 3, 2024, at 5:00 PM (UK time).
- The NEIROUSDT contract will go live on the same day at 5:15 PM (UK time).
Details on the Contracts:
- MOODENGUSDT Perpetual Contract: Inspired by a popular baby hippo, Moo Deng, from a zoo in Thailand, MOODENG is a meme coin that has gained significant popularity due to its unique animal-themed branding.
- To ensure fair trading conditions during the launch, OKX will impose a temporary funding rate cap for the MOODENGUSDT contract. The cap will be set at 0.03% until 7:00 AM (UK time) on October 4, 2024, after which it will return to the standard rate of 1.50% by 11:00 AM (UK time).
Contract Rules
Both MOODENGUSDT and NEIROUSDT perpetual contracts will follow the same trading rules, price limits, and conditions as other digital assets on the OKX platform.
